1. Overview
ThinBridge POS is an Android application that operates as a POS Printer Bridge.
The application enables users to:
Receive print data through a web interface provided by the app
Send print commands directly from the app interface
Accept print data from external applications or systems configured by the user
Forward print data to compatible POS thermal printers
ThinBridge POS supports ESC/POS-compatible thermal receipt printers via:
Bluetooth
USB
LAN/IP (TCP/IP)
It does not support office printers such as laser, inkjet, A4, or A3 printers.
ThinBridge POS is not a cloud-based service and does not provide remote data storage operated by the developer.
2. Application Architecture
The application may receive print data from:
A web interface accessible through a browser
The main interface of the Android application
External software or systems connected to the application
Print data is processed locally on the Android device and forwarded directly to the configured POS printer.
The developer does not operate any intermediary server that receives, stores, or processes user print content.
3. Information Collection
3.1 Print Content
ThinBridge POS:
Does not collect print content
Does not transmit print content to the developer
Does not store print content on external servers
All print data is handled locally on the user’s device.
3.2 Local Configuration Data
The application may store locally on the device:
Printer configuration settings
LAN/IP printer addresses
Connection settings
Application preferences
License or purchase status
This data remains on the device and is not transmitted to the developer.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
ThinBridge POS may integrate Google AdMob to display advertisements.
If advertisements are enabled, Google may collect certain technical information, including:
Device information
IP address
Advertising ID
App interaction data
Such data collection is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
ThinBridge POS does not independently collect or store advertising-related personal data.
Users may manage or reset their Advertising ID through Android system settings.
5. Payments
If paid features are offered, transactions are processed through:
Google Play Billing
Payment processing is handled entirely by Google.
The developer does not collect or store payment information.
6. Permissions
The application may request the following permissions:
Bluetooth
To connect and send data to Bluetooth POS printers.
USB
To communicate with USB POS printers.
Network (LAN / Internet)
To:
Receive print data from web interfaces or external systems
Forward data to LAN/IP printers
Display advertisements (if enabled)
Validate purchases via Google Play Billing
The application does not transmit print content to the developer’s servers.
7. Network Responsibility
Because ThinBridge POS may:
Provide a local web interface
Accept incoming network connections
Forward data within a local network
Users are responsible for securing their network environment.
The developer is not responsible for unauthorized access caused by improper network configuration.
8. Children’s Privacy
ThinBridge POS is not intended for children under 13 years of age.
The application does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Policy Updates
This Privacy Policy may be updated when necessary.
The latest version will be made available within the application or on the official distribution platform.
